Declaration of Candidacy

Grantsville City will hold a municipal election to elect one (1) Mayor and two (2) City Council positions, all four years terms. Qualified candidates may file a Declaration of Candidacy form. The filing is to be done is person with the City Recorder at Grantsville City Hall, 429 E. Main St., Grantsville, Utah. The filing period is from June 1, 2017 to June 7, 2017 during regular business office hours and not later than 5:00 p.m. on the last day of filing. All candidates for election are subject to financial disclosure requirements. Qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States citizen at the time of filing; (2) Be a registered voter of the municipality; (3) Be a resident of the municipality or a resident of the recent annexed area for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the election.
