PRIMARY ELECTION Tuesday, June 22nd
The June Primary Election in Tooele County has only Republican candidates and is a closed primary election. The Republican Party has chosen to only allow voters associated with the Republican Party to vote in this election, narrowing down the party’s candidates for the November Election.
The four political parties registered with the State of Utah this year are: Constitution, Democratic, Libertarian and Republican. All voters not affiliated with one of these parties are considered unaffiliated for this primary election. Unaffiliated voters may affiliate with the Republican Party at the poll by filling out an affiliation form. By-Mail Unaffiliated voters will receive an affiliation form with their ballot. Any voter affiliated with the Constitution, Democratic or Libertarian party who wishes to vote in the Republican Primary Election, must change their party affiliation, in writing, by May 24, 2010. You may change your party affiliation by one of the following methods: 1) Go to the Clerk’s website at www.co.tooele.ut.us/clerk.htm., click on the “Affiliation Form” link on the right side of the page. Fill out the form and mail it back to the Clerk’s Office; 2) Call the office at 435-843-3140 and we will mail you a form; 3) Stop by the Clerk’s Office at 47 S. Main, Suite #318. Again, all affiliation forms must be postmarked by May 24, 2010.

US Senate Tooele County Surveyor
Tim Bridgewater - Republican Douglas J. Kinsman - Republican
Mike Lee - Republican John Riddle - Republican
